Q :What do you think of JYJ?
A :
Two issues here, I guess? First JYJ in general and second is their break from SM?
I think that they are a talented group of guys who are slightly lost at sea, since suddenly they don’t have a dedicated production team to tell them what to do, which choreography to learn and which songs to promote.

In terms of their actual existence, as an entity,
I am somewhat conflicted in the sense that I appreciate what they did at the same time as wanting to condemn it.

They certainly raised awareness to the nature of some of the contracts that rookies are dumb enough (not forced) to sign.
In the future it may protect debutant artists, but remember that any industry doesn’t do work for charity: where a company is forced to compromise its profits (in this case, not getting the full use of its trained talent), it will find some other way of doing so. So while JYJ may have shortened contracts in the industry, rookie artists may have contracts in which the small print gives them next to nothing or pays them in company shares. Not only this, trainees that enjoyed small allowances, dormitories and small luxuries may find that potential costs that their sunbaes may incur are cut from their budget.
The impact JYJ had on the industry may well be one step forward, two steps back: notionally it seems better, but in reality the problems may now be completely away from the public eye.

Now, about their break. It’s easy for fangirls to blame SM for all their woes and to demonise them in comparison to other companies. Whenever I read comments that do this, I know that the writer knows nothing about K-Pop and should sit back down and read more about its history.

Besides, every company is the same and seeks profits as a long-term objective.
It isn’t some artsy college music society: K-Pop is a multi-million dollar industry with the potential for billions in expansion across the continent.

JYJ breaking their contracts goes against everything I believe in. They made a promise at debut in the form of a contract, keeping their heads down while earning fame under the direction of SM, before deciding they wanted more money. They went to a higher power to try to break that promise. A man must stick to his word, no matter how painful the consequences. Without that, he is without honour.
Let’s break it down. In the end, JYJ chose money over all, yes over all things. They were successful enough to be allowed creative input into their activities, so the artistic issue is right out the window already. And one should be judged by actions, not words, and their actions speak volumes.

They said Always Keep the Faith.

We thought they’d be five forever.

They chose to leave the group. They chose to leave Yunho and Changmin behind. They chose money over their two other members. They chose to break the trust of those who made them who they are today. They succumbed to greed, no matter how fans wish to put it… and that reality is the sad truth.

my comments :
to tell you the truth if there is a way to deny what he said, i will but i cant it just too true to deny.if we listen unnamed song by jyj carefully we will caugh the situation is around 2007. at that times it was normal if TVXQ money balance was defisit.they didnt have korean promo only japan promo ,, they werent really popular around 2007 in japan before budokan concert or more exactly before purple line..and write something about ppl who want more money dont make him different clear that he want money too.i wonder in that song
he talk about how he had no money, so he had to borrow some, but then he ended up using all for traveling? Then he goes on and talks about the tax, etc. I wonder what he's thinking about now. Is he stupid or something?  didn't know he was this ignorant. The fact that he wrote a song about it-despite the fact that it's based on wrong information- makes him look ignorant
i dont mean to defends SM&HoMin here but yes for me contract is fairly enough( u can read the read document at truetvxq.blogspot.com) meanwhile it was already changed 5 times before jaechunsu fulfilled lawsuit (last time was feb 2009 before june2009)even at  that time when tokyo dome sm already want to change their contract..
its actually break my heart When Junsu said at that time (when they were dbsk5) he didnt happy (JYJ Tokyo Dome Juni 2010) so actually at that time he didnt happy with those beautifull  songs, with another two members etc, they said always keep the faith ,DBSK are the most value thing in their live BUT then suddenly form another boyband and appear with so called the beginning ,jaechun new tattos only tattoed JYJ no HoMin at all seems like they already erased homin from their brother bond.its hurt you know its hurt but hey i still stand and supported them at that time with all my heart even i notice them more than i noticed homin that time though my bias is yunho...i accept they are JYJ now not part of DBSK anymore
then when HoMin comeback with the name of dongbangshinki,, they suddenly said they still part of DBSK etc etc and those anonymous tweet only make me sadder if junsu &jaejoong still respect yunho as his leader and also dongbangshinki, doesnt matter how dissapointed they were that homin used DBSK name(in fact they started to move on first as JYJ) they wouldnt write  like that atleast when HoMin at their promo time.
Btw i was officially member of DNBN and i know how wrost (ex) fans insult homin at there in fact they know nothing.thats all the effect of 6.25 meeting ,even till know i still feel buthurt toward those ppl who was involved at that meeting, how could they said they wanted to keep DBSK as 5 but they badmoythed homin esp yunho even till now i still pray that JYJ didnt know their parents hold on that meeting that give a very bad damage to their so called brothers.if they want to protect their kids what did they wrote openly letter like homin parents did not secret meeting like that so coward..and yes i know jaejoong like to visit dnbn a lot,, there was no way he didnt know what happened there but did he do something to clear rumour or protect his brothers?! hell no all he did only tweet that fueled hatred to homin.so yes im so dissapointed to JYJ i dont support them but i dont hate them even i still feel sick w/the sympathi game that they play ..yeah i hate the game that they play even till now they sued avex, idk what to say seems like if they dont get catton candy what they want theyll sue.i am not truly moving on&forgiving them sincerely now but it doesnt mean i can do it later meanwhile i realize i feel hurt like this because i love them too much .i love them as xiah junsu, youwoong jaejoong and mickey yoochun not that JYJ for me they are different ppl. i cant stand them sorry but yeah ppl change its not their problems to change.its mine,so to know this before i let you go i love you, i miss you the old you my xiah,my hero my mickey not the new you as jyj.i let u go i support uknow and mark only.i wish the best for you hope the result of all ur lawsuit will be fair enough for u and sm&avex and dont affect ppl that dont involved
